With the goal of educating children about the importance of mangroves to marine ecosystems, the RMP does mangrove re-plantations with kids from the West End School. First, we collect red mangrove seedlings.  We then make a nursery on the RMP’s deck.  Later we identify the sites and teach kids about mangroves’ benefits, functions, and threats. We later move to the sites to make the re-plantations.
